Styler Her Empowered (S H E) is a grassroots nonprofit based in Togo. S H E brings a holistic approach to empowerment through a circular and self-sustained model that is better for girls, women and the planet. They offer schooling and scholarships to young girls in Togo, employ exclusively women for the schools while offering fair wages and benefits, and use products that are sustainable for planetary health. S H E was founded in 2017, and now serves 1,500 girls annually and employs 33 women across 21 rural communities in Togo.
SWAHA is all in when it comes to the research backed and evidence based links to directly addressing the Climate Crisis. The intersectionality of providing education to girls, employment to women and the sustainable production of necessary goods is crucial right now.
