Achieve aims to fill the skills gap in the US economy as well as creating a career-first education pathway for underserved communities. The exposure to underserved communities and low-income populations is both intentionally pursued through the design of the program (zero cost education) but also driven by the state of college education and employment opportunities. Achieve's advocacy efforts contributed to legislative advancements for pay-for-success apprenticeships at the federal level and the evolution of Colorado's apprenticeship program at the state level. According to 2023 impact reporting, around 419 apprentices have been trained, and there is ~86% placement rate.
